Professional learning in the FREE 2B ME Practice, for practitioners, teams and organisations who want to work out what is actually happening, what matters to the person, where useful change belongs and who has the responsibility and authority to act.
It is not training in a single technique, a single explanation or a single framework. It develops the reasoning that has to hold when a real situation does not match the example.
Understand before you intervene.
The learning is built on the practice process: Notice → Separate → Locate → Make Accessible → Choose Direction → Support & Implement → Review → Recalibrate.
Separating what gets collapsed
Observation from interpretation. The person from the behaviour. The goal from the assumed method. The support need from the service label.
Locating the work
The work may sit with a skill, communication, health, a relationship, direct support, professional practice, an environment, an organisation or a wider system. Often more than one.
Access before intervention
Whether a person can meaningfully access what is being asked, before difficulty is read as unwillingness, incapacity or resistance. Access is not the absence of challenge.
Capability without conformity
Learning, challenge, skill development and intervention all belong in good practice. We build capability without making conformity the goal.
Scope and authority
What sits inside a practitioner’s qualifications, registration and role — and what must be referred, escalated or shared. Responsibility should follow authority.
Evidence and review
What would actually tell us whether the support helped, what it cost, and what should change as a result.

The FREE 2B ME Practice Library
The Library is written as four person-facing books and four professional companions covering the same territory from different positions and different responsibilities. The professional companions address evidence, reasoning, assessment, scope, intervention, implementation and accountability.
The books are a resource for learning. They are not a qualification, and reading them does not authorise anyone to practise beyond their existing scope.
The FREE 2B ME Practitioner Pathway
FREE 2B ME Practitioner is a role, and the Pathway is the structured route of learning, supervised application and capability development behind it. It runs inside Neurodivergent Empowered as a workforce pathway, with supervision, observation and recorded capability evidence.

Foundation completion is stage one only. It is learning evidence. It is not competence, not scope, not readiness for independent practice, and not authority to work with any particular person. Authority to practise comes from qualifications, registration, supervision and demonstrated capability — never from finishing a course.
Not open for external enrolment The Practitioner Pathway is currently an internal workforce route within Neurodivergent Empowered and is not offered as a public course, credential or certification. Nothing on this page should be read as an offer of enrolment. Organisations interested in the Pathway are welcome to start a conversation about what may become available later.
What this learning is and is not
Learning is not a professional service. The Practice, its frameworks and its tools support professional reasoning. On their own they do not constitute counselling, psychological therapy, Specialist Behaviour Support, clinical assessment, diagnosis or any other regulated professional service, and they do not replace one. Those services are delivered separately, by appropriately qualified practitioners, within their own registration and scope.
Consultation is not clinical supervision. Reflective-practice and case consultation are not represented as accredited clinical supervision. Formal counselling, clinical or Behaviour Support supervision is offered only where the relevant supervisor recognition, practitioner capability, insurance and governance requirements are met.
Completion is not certification. Attending a session, finishing a programme or reading the books does not certify competence and does not extend anyone’s professional scope.
