Sovereignty was never ceded. No treaty was ever signed. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which this work is made, and that does not become less true with time, legislation or silence.

FREE 2B ME acknowledges Elders past, present and emerging. This body of work exists because systems cause harm when they ask people to become easier to accommodate. No community in this country has been asked to do that more often, or for longer, than First Nations peoples.

We hold that as a matter of practice, not sentiment.

When you enquire

The enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, enquiry type and a message. Event, organisation, budget, timing and access details are optional. These details are used to respond to your enquiry and work through the format, access and next steps.

Share only what is useful for that conversation. No diagnosis or personal history is needed.

Books and optional updates

Your name, email and chosen titles are used to manage a book reservation and contact you about those books. The reservation does not take a payment. Optional marketing consent in the reflection’s reservation form is recorded separately.

Joining updates is a separate choice. You can ask to withdraw marketing consent, change a reservation or stop receiving updates by email.

The free reflection page does not collect your answers. You can read or print the prompts without providing your email address.

How the website works

Netlify hosts this website and processes its enquiry forms. The reflection’s book reservation service uses Netlify storage. Hosting processes technical requests, and storage may be outside Australia.

Your browser remembers display preferences and whether you have seen the Acknowledgement of Country during your visit. Those preferences help the site work for you.
